Behest Belief

("Be-hest")

The behestians believe that there is only one true god, sometimes in scriptures referred to as "Behest" but mainly referred to as God. They believe that light elementals are blessed individuals by God who should be respected and held in high regard. While contrarily the dark elementals are "corrupted" and thus should be

The Citadel

The Citadel once was a thriving mega city for the behestians in their promise land desert. A cylindrical city with towering, thick walls and buildings built layer by layer to form a more vertical city that spanded acres across. It had four gates that had inner main roads that when seen above would make what appears to be the behestian cross. The lower levels of the citadel were called by many "hell" as those who lived there recieve little to no light and would often need to help keep the top of the city "powered" with heating and essence. The central building is a cathedral where mass is held, and is large enough for hold most of the inhabitants of the city (top layer). They have appointed four individuals as the "Four Heavenly Kings" and to help spread the behestian belief and control beyond the city. They do not recognize kings as "chosen by god" but rather just a formal title to rule a large piece of land.

Statera Corus Belief

Statera Corus translates to Balance of heart/core/center, and believers generally believe everything has a balanced equal. They do not view one elemental as above another, and believe that dark elementals are not inherently "evil" and that light elementals are not inherently "good". They believe in god hierarchy, four gods as the "Major Majors" or "The Majors" that rule over life, four smaller gods as "Major Minors" that each help in one of the Majors, and then additional gods known as "The Minors" as they can be classed as "Minor Majors" or "Minor Minors".

Mayn Belief

A dead religion which thought the world would end at a certain date, but once proven that the world did not die most followers abandoned it. Only stone carvings are left as proof of this religion, if any were left intact as a passage in the Behest bible suggests that many stone temples were destroyed. Some of most younger carvings suggest that the Behest and Statera Corus religions, and many unnamed others, were created after the fall of the Mayns.
